2008 F1 GRAND PRIX OF CANADA PREVIEW !!!

Well its that time of year has one again crept up on us…F1 fans in America that is!!! Considering the sad loss of the US Grand Prix this year which was once held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, this years ONLY north American race will be held in Montreal, Canada.

Not only will it be the only North American F1 event, but it marks the 30th year in a row that Montreal is the only Canadian date host!!!

Being a Montreal resident, I have the plesure of soaking in all the festivities. Unlike most host cities, Montreal has an ENTIRE week of things going on leading up to the race on the Sunday. Starting as early as Tuesday we are bombarded with tourists and world media.

This year especially with no US date, countless US fans of F1 will be heading up to Montreal to get their F1 fix!!! In years past there is NO shortage of exotics roaming the streets, but this year is BOUND to provide some UNIQUE spots indeed.

If you are Planning on showing up for some of the partying going on during the week, might i make a suggestion and show up on Thursday June 5th for the LUIGI FERRARI CLUB Parade which begins at 5:30 PM as DOZENS of fcars from all eras drive down MAISONNEUVE ST. and then all park on PEEL ST. until around midnight.
