Lamborghini LP560-4 Options
May 19, 2008
*Edit more accurate pricing
CarFront’s source was off for the list price of the LP560-4, what can we say, we try hard to get you info as fast as we can, sometimes this causes a mistake here and there. We’ve been informed from an licensed Lamborghini dealer that Base price is $191,000 for a 6 speed and $210,600 for the eGear
So if you decide to run a fully optioned LP560-4 You’re going to be swimming in the $250k price range, and definitely not playing in the $300k+ ball park.
Ready to fork out the list price of $280,000 for the new Lamborghini LP560-4? Well you’ll need to choose your options which will send the price climbing.
Carbon Ceramic Breaks, a must have will run you a staggering $18,768. Add Sat nav in the car, that will add $3,113. Want the largest alloys available? tack on $6,256. Add on the sport package for another $2,681 and finally, if you make your e-gear you will be adding a final $12,054. So if you get your new Lambo fully loaded you can be looking to spend about $322,000. Against the $332,700 Ferrari Scuderia, sign me up!
Maserati Quatroport Getting a Facelift
May 19, 2008
The guys over at Autocar have spied a Maserati Quatroport with quite a bit of camo on. You can still quite easily see that it will be taking cues from the Gran Turismo with the wide mouth look, giving it a bit more of a menacing look. Rumors are that the bigger air intakes will feed into a power plant from the recently unveiled Ferrari California. There is more camouflage on the back, indicating Maserati has been tinkering with the tailights, we’re expecting to see LEDs nestled in there once unveiled.
2009 Ferrari “California” Officially Announced
May 13, 2008
Named after the state governed by a action-movie-hero and which some say should be its own country, the Ferrari California was just unveiled by it’s makers in Italy this afternoon. The car not only features styling unlike any recent Ferarri before it, but also a V8 motor making 454hp at 7,900 rpm. A retractable hard top is going to be used unlike the traditional canvas tops on the F430 and 360’s. A 0-60 time under 4-seconds, seven speed dual-clutch transmission, ceramic brakes, and the “F1-Trac” traction control program (from the 599 GTB) all point to this vehicle being a strict sports car in traditional Ferrari fashion rather than a grand tourer. Expect more news of Ferrari’s newest model as it becomes available.
2007 Lamborghini LP640’s Sent Back to Dealerships
May 12, 2008
Lamborghini’s highest ranked super-car, the LP640, may be seeing a return trip to the dealership as news has been leaked that a recall is being issued to owners of these 640-horsepower monsters. Apparently the factory has discovered a problem with the drive-belt-pulley on 2007 model year LP640’s. While details are sparse as of this witting, CarFront will keep owners of the LP640 updated with information as it becomes available.
Lamborghini Reventon - 1/20
May 12, 2008
A large box showed up at Lamborghini of Las Vegas the other day, what could be inside? None other than the first Lamborghini Reventon to be available for private sale. I could go on, and on about the limited production numbers astronomic price, and the engine specs. In this case, I think I’ll just let the high res pictures do the talking.
Bugatti Veyron | Sang Noir
May 10, 2008
Paying homage to the Bugatti Atlantique 57S, the Sang Noir is the third special edition Veyron. It’s the darker side of the Pur Sang and the Hermes edition. The Sang Noir, or Black Blood comes with a gorgeous interior, black backed headlights, a refreshed front grill, reworked to match the side mirrors, an entirely black body and new wheels that set off the demonic look of the Black Blood.
