Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept Revealed

Despite the sales crash of 2009, the Detroit motor show actually has some interesting cars showcased at the stands. Check out this Cadillac XTS Platinum Concept that General Motors has unveiled.

Note the concept on the name. That only probably means that this hints on a car that they will be releasing in the future. Caddy says that it will be the basis of a new luxury limo for 2012.

XTS is a new name that GM hopes would spice things up for the caddy line. The car boasts of Caddy’s new design philosophy. It will be powered by a 3.6L V6 dishing out 349 bhp paired with a plug-in hybrid system.

Caddy isn’t doing well in the market so another name in the lineup probably would help. The STS and DTS will be consolidated to become a single model.
