And we’ve got yet another supercar that could break 200 mph. And the Arash AF-10 is pegged to even top 220 mph. Not quite enough to beat the Veyron or even the old McLaren F1 but 200 mph is more than enough to edge out many supercars from established makers of exotica.

Powering the car is the 7.0L V8 from the Corvette Z06 (an engine that has been quite popular lately, Zenvo managed to get 1100 hp out of it). The var is tuned to produce 550 bhp. Arash intends to create a more hardcore version with a 7.2L V8 that produces 1200 hp.

The engine will be mates to a six-speed Graziano gearbox. A six-speed sequential from the Pagani Zonda F will come as an option though. Initial performance figures have it that the car can go from 0 to 60 in under four seconds.

For those thinking that the Arash doesn’t quite cut it in terms of pedigree, well several entities with establish backgrounds have contributed to the car, including EPM Technologies which works on Force India F1 cars and chassis expert Loris Bichocchi who worked on the Veyron.
