Fenix Previews New Supercar
January 6, 2010

So what can a guy do after selling a company that he built? Create another one. Too bad if the first company bears his name. Such was the case with Lee Noble, who founded Noble Automotive back in 1999 but sold it when he resigned from the company in 2008.
Probably not wanting to be out of the industry, he established Fenix Automotive and the company will be slugging it out with Noble and all the other small automakers that specialize in supercars. Just take a look at this supercar they’re building.
And Noble wouldn’t let go of what he’s done with his former company, claiming that the car is a virtual descendant of the old Noble M12.
The car is built to be lightweight at 1200 kg that will be powered by a choice between the 6.2L LS9 V8 of the ‘Vette ZR1 that dishes out 638 bhp (that would allow the car to go past 200 mph) and a smaller LS3 V8 that’s good for 480 bhp.
