No more teaser images this time. Fiat’s finally unveiled the new small car that’s going to be slotted in between the Panda and the Grand Punto.

The Uno will be powered by a choice between two engines. A 1.0L engine that dishes out 73 bhp runs on alcohol and a larger 1.4L engine churns out 88 bhp when running on alcohol and 85 bhp when running on gasoline. Power is delivered to the front wheels through a five-speed manual.

The car’s only 3.77m long and 1.64m wide. The car gets stylings from the Panda but has sleeker lines. The front grille and bumper are also redesigned to make the Uno look unique on its own.

The pictures are of the pseudo-SUV Uno known as the “Way.” The new Uno will be produced at the firm’s plant in Brazil.

So Fiat announced in its five-year development plan that it will be reintroducing the Uno as part of its lineup to sit in between the Panda and the Grande Punto.

The new model resurrects the good old Uno name. The car would then serve as the replacement for the old Uno and the Mk2 Punto supermini.

Now we finally see what the car would look like thanks to leaked images.

The car is reported to be based on a shortened Grande Punto platform and is set to slug it out with the likes of the Ford Fiesta and the Mazda 2. The Uno, however, is expected to more spaceous than the Mazda 2.

Unlike the Panda and the Punto, however, the Uno sports more curves in its lines creating a less aggressive-looking car.

So we guess that Fiat’s indecision on how to streamline their brands is still an ongoing issue. Reports earlier indicated that Fiat is looking at consolidating several brands including Alfa Romeo, Abarth and Maserati under one marquee.

But that doesn’t stop them from teasing the US market on the possibility of finally getting Alfa Romeos stateside. Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne said that the Alfa Romeo is a brand that can compete in a wider market especially in North America.

“There is a strong likelihood that the brand will be back here within the next 24 months,” said Marchionne.

Initial plans on brining the brand over included platform sharing with Chrysler but it looks like Fiat is seeing some value in selling cars with the Alfa badge.

Fiat came to the rescue of Chrysler when it neared its demise due to the sales crash of 2009.

So it’s the year and the decades end and it’s all about lists. So we’ve made our own and checked it twice on our pics for the best cars of the decade. Largely our basis for choosing is the car’s impact to motoring. If it’s all about speed and performance supercars will pepper the list. For some reason, it does, but that doesn’t stop us from looking at the sensible side of things.

10. Toyota Prius

While die-hard gear- and petrolheads aren’t throwing in the towel yet in this econmentalist revolution that has affected the motoring industry, we have to admit the the impact of the hybrid. It might be slow to drive and you might look like a smug and sanctimonious bastard who likes the smell of his own farts owning one. But it did challenge the status quo regarding cars and saving the planet. And quite frankly, whether we like it or not, that’s where motoring is headed.

9. Ariel Atom

It might not be the car you can live with everyday but it’s a track day car that any middle-aged middle-class person can consider gifting himself with while contending with mid-life crisis. It melts your face and ruptures your spleen. The car redefined power-to-weight ratios. It offers more excitement than six-figure supercars.

8. Nissan GT-R

Forget about Porsches, Lambos, Koenigseggs and Paganis, as far as supercars are concerned, we’re giving it to Nissan. Why? It’s because Nissan has proven that it can shame every self-respecting supercar maker by making a car that’s arguably better at half the price. And if there’s a digital technological showcase, this is it. Makes you forget that it’s a Datsun.

7. Ford Focus Mk2

The Focus might have started its life in the late 90s but the Mark 2 made it one of the better cars of the decade. It looks good, performs well, practical, and wouldn’t make you destitute trying to own one. As a hatchback, it has got the best-ever EuroNCAP ratings for its class trumping rivals like the Renault Megane and Volkswagen Golf. The ST and RS variants made the ordinary man think that a decent fast car isn’t only for thoser who can buy supercars. And it’s available in more markets than most of its US rivals.

6. Aston Martin DB9

Being Aston fans, we know there should be an Aston somewhere in the list. We were really going for the DBS but realized that the DB9 was the car that Aston Martin got right. Without their achievement with the DB9, the DBS would’ve been horrible. The DB9 showed that Aston can make a great-looking great car.

5. Audi R8

Out of almost nowhere, Audi decided to join the supercar fray with the R8. And that’s really something especially since the Volkswagen Group already has Lamborghini to make insane supercars. The thing is, apart from the LED headlamps and that silver thing running down its the side, the R8 isn’t really insane. Sort of a sensible man’s supercar but better in almost (if not all) respects than a Porsche 911. The R8 is one of the best-driving supercars (performance and ease of driving it) our there in the market.

4. Ferrari F430 Scuderia

I know what you’re thinking. If there’s a Ferrari to make this list, it should be the flagship Enzo. But no. The Scuderia is probably the best example of the stripped-down super car by far – proof that you can make a car better by subtracting and not adding. Just take note of the fact that this car is faster than the Enzo around Ferrari’s own track. At less than half the Enzo’s price. And yes, it’s a Ferrari.

3. Fiat 500 Abarth

In a decade that saw people lose jobs and money, Fiat has given us the best cheap and cheerful vehicle – the 500 Abarth. You can now forget the Mini when thinking of small zippy cars because the 500 Abarth is definitely “it.” The real driver’s alternative for owning and driving a great performing car without requiring you to acutally rob a bank. Too bad there’s a long waiting list before you can get one if you decide to.

2. Honda FCX Clarity

We’re really putting it all on black with this one. Notice there’s not one pure electric vehicle in the list? That’s because we think that waiting hours for a car to get back on the road again has sent motoring back into… oh we don’t know. Not even horse-drawn carriages needed 8 hours to get going again. Sure, hydrogen tech has yet to be perfected but the car really is fit for the future. As James May said, “The reason it’s the car of the future is because it’s just like the car of today.

1. Bugatti Veyron

The essence of engineering – taking Newton’s laws of physics and throwing them out the window. Oh sure, Shelby Supercars decided they can build the faster Utimate Aero but nothing trumps the pantomime-effect of the Veyron. It’s fast all right. But you know you’re looking at something different. Something majestic.

And you would’ve thought that you can only pack as much inside a small car like the Fiat 500. Italian tuning firm Romeo Ferraris found a way to make the 500 a virtual cannonball.

This Romeo Ferraris-tuned Fiat 500 Abarth is set to join the 6 Hours of Vallenlunga endurance race in Italy later this year. The car basically reminds me of Stewie Griffin dressed as Darth Vader in that Family Guy Star Wars Episode with the black paint job and a huge rear wing.

The 1.4L turbocharged engine has been heavily tweak for it to dish out a bonkers 360 hp. That’s almost triple of what the standard 500 Abarth dishes out.

This Romeo Ferraris 500 Abarth will be driven by Italians Aldo Cerruti, Michela Cerruti, and Mario Ferraris.

It’s basically a revised Grande Punto. However, don’t get deceived by the “Evo” label. It’s not like the “Evo” that goes with the Mitsubishi Lancer.

The Punto Evo gets an engine range update. The engine choices now include the 1.4L gasoline Multiair unit. The range will also feature a 1.3L diesel. So what’s Multiair?

Its a system that allows direct control of air and combustion for each cylinder and stroke. That just basically means that it is energy-efficient cutting down on consumption and CO2 emissions. Aside from the eco benefits, the system also boost the power by 10% and the torque by 15%.

For added measure, Fiat will be making the stop-start system across its engines.

As for aesthetics and design concerns, the car has been restyled now featuring new bumpers and light clusters with the interior getting a complete rework. The Punto Evo has 7 airbags including one for the driver’s knees, a new sat-nav and information systems.

If you’ve never had something in common with Adolf Hitler, now’s your chance—by sitting in the same Fiat 2800 Torpedo from 1939 that carried the Nazi leader when he visited Benito Mussolini in Rome.

“The example that we are offering at our sale ‘The Legende et Passion’ is the most famous of them all,” said Chris Routledge, the managing director of Coys, where the car is being auctioned. “It is known that the car was used by Pope Pious XII, Benito Mussolini as well as his mistress Claretta Petacci and by Aldolf Hitler and General Franco when they visited Rome.”

The 1939 Fiat Torpedo had also been previously displayed at the Villa d’Este Concorso d’Eleganza. The Torpedo was a luxury car that indicated high class, as shown by this one’s former ownership. Over a third of the total Torpedo run was used for chauffeur duty—for heads of the Fascist military and dignitaries.

If you’ve got the dough to spare, this is certainly one of the most interesting used cars you’ll find anywhere. The auctioneers are expecting the car to fetch somewhere in the neighborhood of 240,000 to 270,000 euros ($326,472 to $367,281).l a confidential movie abbott and costello in who done it divx movie online download oscar
