2007 Lamborghini LP640’s Sent Back to Dealerships

Lamborghini’s highest ranked super-car, the LP640, may be seeing a return trip to the dealership as news has been leaked that a recall is being issued to owners of these 640-horsepower monsters. Apparently the factory has discovered a problem with the drive-belt-pulley on 2007 model year LP640’s. While details are sparse as of this witting, CarFront will keep owners of the LP640 updated with information as it becomes available.

Lamborghini Reventon - 1/20

A large box showed up at Lamborghini of Las Vegas the other day, what could be inside? None other than the first Lamborghini Reventon to be available for private sale. I could go on, and on about the limited production numbers astronomic price, and the engine specs. In this case, I think I’ll just let the high res pictures do the talking.

Bugatti Veyron | Sang Noir

Paying homage to the Bugatti Atlantique 57S, the Sang Noir is the third special edition Veyron. It’s the darker side of the Pur Sang and the Hermes edition. The Sang Noir, or Black Blood comes with a gorgeous interior, black backed headlights, a refreshed front grill, reworked to match the side mirrors, an entirely black body and new wheels that set off the demonic look of the Black Blood.

BMW M5 - Twin Turbo

Lotus Eagle

Lotus adds a pinch of practicality to their sports car line up with the possible unveiling of the Lotus Eagle.  These pictures show the possible vehicle lapping the Nurburgring.  Lotus has confirmed their intentions to unveil a new vehicle at this years London Motor Show as it will be Lotus’ 60^th anniversary.  Suspension and chassis details were released February and the name “Eagle”  was registered in the US by Lotus.  The vehicle is expected to be a 2+2 seat configuration on an expanded Elise frame.  A 300hp Toyota V6 power plant will spin the two back wheels propelling this sure-to-be-lightweight car into the stratosphere.   If you plan on making the Eagle the office-carpool-taxi-mobile you may want to reconsider as the two back seats are supposedly only suitable for small children, brief cases and sub-machine guns.  If you’re in the senior citizen crowd, you’ll be happy to hear that the trunk can in fact accommodate a golf bag.  Look for more information after this years London Motor Show.
