The “Progressor” Cayenne by JE Design

The GTS Porsche Design Edition 3 wasn’t the only design-intensive model unveiled today. JE Design has come up with an appearance upgrade kit for the tuner-favorite luxury SUV, called the JE Design Progressor.
The JE Design Progressor is based on a 957 Porsche Cayenne and will feature extensive design tweaks. The elements that banner the Progressor’s looks are LED daytime running lights and a new kit that makes the front, side, and rear look more aggressive. To account for a widened track, the tuner also provided vented fender wells.
Aside from widening the track (60mm at the front, 80mm at the back), JE Design also provided the Progresser with adjustable lowering. The lowering can be done with an electronic lowering kit or an optional coilover. The vehicle can be lowered from 35mm to 70mm. Rounding out the kit are a set of five-spoke 22×10-inch alloy wheels.
The Progressor kit is available now from JE Design. While the Progressor may not be as sleek or as exclusive nor does it have the interior upgrades of the GTS Porsche Design Edition 3, it still offers a versatile lowered ride.

third wheel the free download Porsche is reportedly seeking Middle East investors that would take as much as 25 percent of the company’s ownership—an infusion of financial flexibility that could impact the Volkswagen merger and also ensure the company’s independence.
It’s no secret that Porsche is really having a hard time paying off the debts it incurred in its bid to acquire more stocks in Volkswagen—a failed pitch to take control of VW. This is a factor that many felt factored into Volkswagen’s decision to call off merger talks this past weekend.
Despite that, the chairmen of the two companies maintained in a joint statement that they are still striving to make what they called “an integrated car manufacturer”.
Well, it looks like Porsche is turning elsewhere to be able to acquire more flexibility that will no doubt influence in the merger talks. It might prove to be difficult to find the kind of investment that Porsche is looking for in such a short time. After all, the merger talks are set to resume later in the week.illegal tender dvdrip
Sledgehammer Porsche 997 by Switzer Performance

Now talk about a monster of a Porsche 911. American tuning house Switzer Performance tried to push the boundaries of the stock internals of the 997’s engine to get the most juice with the Sledgehammer – a 911 with a lot of punch. A combination of two turbos up the total punch from the engine to more than double its original output with a total of 1,000 ponies.
The car manages to get 850 hp at the flywheel though but still, that’s a lot of punch for a car the size of the 911. It’s mighty quick off the line, getting from 0-60 mph in in sub-3 seconds. Now only if they also tweaked the suspensions and the handling for good measure – something that Porsche themselves has striven to perfect to compensate for placing the engine in the rear. So far, the Sledgehammer’s only good going on a straight line.

Gemballa Avalanche 600 GT2 EVO

The fine people over at Gemballa have a sick, but oh so sweet addiction with pushing the limits. You know the insanity that comes wrapped up in a feisty package we like to call the Porsche GT2. Well keeping pace with past achievements, Gemballa put together a kit for the Porsche GT2 and the Porsche turbo. And it’s exactly as the name states, an avalanche. They took the already blistering 530hp and kicked it in square in the pants. Now with 600hp and 619lb.-ft. of torque. The German auto tunner, added a race exhaust, a new intercooler and worked there magic on the ECU. Visually, the Avalanche 600is sporting a new front spoiler, EVO wing, and hood. Stock supsension has been 86′d for a coilovers larger disc breaks, and 20inch Gemballa ‘Racing Black Edition wheels. This list keeps going on the inside with new carpeting, aluminum pedals and door plates. And to top it all off a 340mm stearing wheel with optional F1paddle shifters. And then a slue of alcantera and leather make this the Gemballa Avalanche 600 GT2 EVO.

Porsche 997 GT3 RS Update Spied

The good folks at AutoCar caught the updated, mind blowing GT3 RS making rounds at the Nurburgring. It’s expected to hit showrooms next year and have Porsche’s new seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission, officially presented as Porsche Doppel Kupplung (PDK). The German car makers strictly paddle-shifting system. We can expect to see a new, redesigned front bumper. An R8 style LED driving lights as well as LED tail lights on the new GT3 RS. Engine wise, it should get a nice kick where it counts, adding an additional 40bhp than the current 410bhp, bringing it Porsche’s lightweight track star to 450bhp.
