The boost comes from ECU tweaks, turbocharging, intake and exhaust upgrades. To help cope with the power, Hamann also had the great German sense of putting four-piston brake calipers. The car also sits on top of 18-inch matte black wheels. The car’s lowered for good measure as well.

Aside from automakers, tuners will also have a strong presence at the upcoming Geneva motor show next month. While everyone else is keen on showcasing green technologies, tuners like Hamann will continue the whole horsepower wars of the past decade.

This here’s Hamann’s showcase for the show – the Hamann Tycoon EVO M. They’ve taken an already powerful BMW X6 M (that dishes out 555 hp) and decided to give it some good ol’ German blitzkrieg bop.

Power now roars to the tune of 670 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque. That’s way more than standard Ferraris and Lamborghinis. 0-62 comes in just 4.2 seconds (.3 seconds faster than the standard X6 M). The car can now go all the way up to 186 mph.

All of this thanks to an ECU upgrade, performance exhausts, and other tweaks. The car also boasts of some really nifty aggressive body panels.
