Reiter Lamborghini LP560 Racer

Tuning group Reiter Engineering has created a version of the Lamborghini LP560 GT3 and showcased it to the public for the first time. The car is largely based on the production Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.

To improve its race-worthiness Reiter equipped the car with a 562 horsepower coming from a 5.2 liter V10 and lightened the car to just 1190 kilograms. To achieve lightweightedness they used a combination of aluminium and carbon fiber on the car.

Compared to the production version the car is 8% more aerodynamic. Whether Reiter has solved the problem of exploding Lamborghinis or not remains to be seen. For the sake of the driver we hope they did.

For those who want a race car of their own one can purchase this LE 560 for just £230,000. For the extra oomph interested buyers can also purchase a meaner and faster GT2 car for an additional £26,000.
