Land Rover is in quite the financial mess out of late but at least it’s still trying to go about the whole business of developing cars.
After 61 years in the market, the Land Rover Defender SUV will finally get a replacement. For quite a long time, the car’s shape has remained untouched giving it that classic off-roading look and feel.
The whole revolution affecting the automotive industry will undoubtedly play a hand at the Defender replacement. Emissions rules and health and safety regulations will force the Defender to take on a dew shape.
Managing director Phil Popham said, “We’ll be really tuning up the versatility side and practicality side,” Popham said. “That for me is the core.”
