New Details on the Pagani C9

So Pagani has probably milked as much as it can from the Pagani Zonda and decided that a new model is in order. Meet the Pagani C9.
The C9 will be powered by AMG’s 6.0L V12 engine dishing out 690 bhp and 737 lb-ft of torque. It really seems like 500 hp is such a decade ago. The new supercar power ranges seems to have shifted above 600.
The chassis will be made from carbon-titanium (tit-bon as James May would call it). Bosch will be handling the electronics. Pirelli will be providing the rubber.
To differentiate it from the old Zonda, Pagani claims that the car will be a completely new design. Even the materials used in building the components will be an improvement. 3770 new parts are to be made for this new vehicle.
Pagani will be winding down the production of special edition Zondas to make way for the C9 production later this year. Pagani pegs the pricing at 900,000 Euros (approx. $1,275,000).
