An interview with Lamborghini - The Reventon, in 4 Months

July 2, 2008

Forbes had a chance to sit down with Lamborghini’s Director of Brand and Design, Manfred Fitzgerald about their million dollar supercar.  Very interesting, he speaks on the whole drafting process of the Reventon took only four months. (I am sure there are some out there that will claim they should have taken longer…)  None the less it is very interesting to get a little inside peak at what went into the super rare Reventon. At the end he also slips in that we can anticipate seeing something new from Lamborghini very soon.

Lamborghini Reventon Takes to the Skies

June 9, 2008

Today in Turin Italy a military helicopter piloted by the Marina Militare Italiana, the Italian Marine Corp took to the skies with a special payload, the Lamborghini Reventon, car stylized after an F-22 Raptor, Thanks to the Italian Military they gave the supercar the opportunity to come as close as it ever will to skimming through the skies like the jet engined fighter jet it was based on.

The Reventon came to rest upon the Lingotto building as a ceremonial ending to the “Lamborghini and Speed - A Project in Record Time.” A conference hosted by Lamborghini showcasing production design, and timescale abilities as shown by Lamborghini by producing the $1 million dollar supercar. The conference was apart of the “Turin 2008 - World Design Capital” festivities and had many local, and international VIPs, including many representatives from the automotive industry.

AMAZING NEW LAMBORGHINI “REVENTON” PICS!!!

May 29, 2008

These AMAZING new Reventon pictures have surfaced, shot by aDavid Nickerson II. THANK YOU David for these great shots. The shots were taken at Lamborghini of Miami, and yes this one is sold.

Simply put, the more I look at this car the more I enjoy its aggressive and completely deadly lines. At first like most of you I`m sure, disappointment ran vigorously through you because we all expected a COMPLETELY new looking car from Lambo. Time has now passed and I think we can all learn to love this car for what it is…something “CRAZY WONDERFUL” . Yes the price is so far fetched even many people who have the money refuse to buy one, but if ever the opportunity arises for myself and many others out there one day, I`m quite sure I wouldn’t hesitate to add it to my collection!!!

Lamborghini Reventon - 1/20

May 12, 2008

A large box showed up at Lamborghini of Las Vegas the other day, what could be inside? None other than the first Lamborghini Reventon to be available for private sale. I could go on, and on about the limited production numbers astronomic price, and the engine specs. In this case, I think I’ll just let the high res pictures do the talking.
